This Privacy Policy explains how Maven Verse SRL (“Maven Verse”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile applications Spark Pro, Maven, Maven Lite, Maven EVO, VR Pro, MavenRoute, MavenCloud, MavenShare and related services (the “Apps” or “Services”), and the website https://www.mavenpilot.com (the “Site”).

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise defined here.

2. What Information We Collect

Some of our Apps do not collect personal information directly from users. However, MavenRoute, MavenCloud, MavenShare and parts of mavenpilot.com may collect or process limited information necessary to provide their online features.

Depending on the features you use, we may process the following information:

Account information

  • email address;
  • authentication provider information, such as Google login or email/password login;
  • account verification status;
  • internal user identifier assigned by the authentication system.

Mission and cloud data

  • mission names;
  • waypoint, polygon, route and photogrammetry settings;
  • coordinates, altitude, speed, camera, overlap and export settings;
  • mission tags and metadata;
  • mission previews or thumbnails;
  • public or shared mission links, if you choose to share or publish a mission.

Usage and technical data

  • basic usage events, such as guest usage, authenticated usage, account creation, account deletion and export-limit events;
  • browser or device technical data normally transmitted when using a website;
  • diagnostic information needed to operate, secure and improve the Services.

Email-related data

  • email addresses used for login codes, password reset, email verification, mission invitations or support requests;
  • message delivery metadata needed to send operational emails.

Local device data

  • flight logs generated by supported mobile Apps are stored on the user’s device and are not transferred to us unless a user explicitly exports or shares them;
  • some settings, preferences and export counters may be stored locally in the browser or on the device.

3. What We Do Not Collect

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as health information, biometric data, political opinions, religious beliefs or payment card data through the Services.

We do not use MavenRoute or MavenCloud to remotely control your drone, monitor your flights in real time, or collect your aircraft flight logs automatically.


4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • provide account login and authentication;
  • save, load, manage, share and publish cloud missions;
  • generate previews, exports and mission files;
  • send login codes, password reset emails, verification emails and mission invitations;
  • apply guest usage limits and prevent abuse;
  • maintain security and reliability;
  • diagnose technical issues;
  • improve the Services;
  • respond to user requests and support messages;
  • comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: to provide the Services requested by the user, including account access, cloud storage, mission sharing and exports.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, improve and protect the Services, prevent abuse and understand basic usage.
  • Consent: where required for optional features or third-party login choices.
  • Legal obligation: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.

6. MavenCloud and Shared Missions

When you use MavenCloud, your mission data may be stored online and linked to your account.

When you use MavenShare or public mission features, the mission data you choose to share may become accessible to other users who receive the link or access the public mission area.

You are responsible for ensuring that mission names, coordinates, locations, tags and shared mission content do not contain confidential information, personal data of others, sensitive infrastructure details or information you are not allowed to share.


7. Third-Party Services

Our Services may use third-party providers to operate correctly, including:

  • Firebase / Google services for authentication, database, cloud storage and related infrastructure;
  • Google login, if selected by the user;
  • email delivery services for login, verification, password reset and mission invitation emails;
  • map and location-related service providers;
  • DJI SDK or DJI-compatible formats in supported Apps;
  • other technical providers necessary to operate the Services.

These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies and contractual obligations. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of third-party services you use.

By using Apps that integrate the DJI mobile SDK, you may also be subject to the DJI Privacy Policy.


8. Flight Logs

Our mobile Apps may create or store flight logs locally on the user’s device. These logs are not automatically transferred to Maven Verse SRL or third parties by us.

If you manually export, send, upload or share a flight log, you are responsible for that action and for the information contained in the file.


9. Cookies, Local Storage and Similar Technologies

The Site and web-based Services may use browser storage or similar technologies to:

  • keep user preferences;
  • maintain login/session state;
  • count guest exports or apply usage limits;
  • store temporary application data;
  • support technical operation of the web app.

You can control browser storage through your browser settings, but disabling it may prevent some features from working correctly.


10. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Account and MavenCloud data may be retained while your account remains active. Shared or public mission data may remain available until deleted, unpublished or removed.

Operational logs and diagnostic data are retained only for the time reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the Services, unless a longer period is required by law.


11. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the Services.

However, no online service, storage system or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for reviewing mission data before sharing or publishing it.


12. International Data Transfers

Some third-party providers used by the Services may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, such transfers are handled using appropriate legal safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.


13. User Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, where applicable, users have the right to:

  • be informed about the collection and processing of their personal data;
  • request access to their personal data;
  • request rectification of inaccurate personal data;
  • request deletion of their personal data;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • receive a copy of their data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

Some data may be required to provide the Services. If you request deletion of required account or cloud data, some features may no longer be available.

The Services are not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use online services without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.


15. Links to Other Sites

Our Services may contain links to websites or services not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of third-party sites or services.


16. Liability and Responsible Use

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations and not to use the Services in a way that threatens national security, public safety, privacy, property or the safety of any individual.

Maven Verse SRL assumes no responsibility and is not liable for damage caused through improper, unsafe or unlawful use of the Apps, Site or Services. Use all Apps and drone-related Services responsibly.


17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and will be effective when posted.

For mobile Apps, we may also notify users through app updates where appropriate. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.


18. Your Consent

By using our Apps, Site or Services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Where consent is legally required, we will request it separately.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please stop using the relevant Services.
